Applications are now open for students to attend Australian College of Applied Animal Studies (February 2020 Intake) to complete their ACM40418 Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing qualification.

Students DO NOT need to be working in a veterinary practice to apply for this course.

Practical Training for Core Units of Competency takes place in a purpose built facility at Narre Warren North. Experience in nursing small animals is delivered at the WoofPurNay Veterinary Clinic. Students undertaking the Equine Elective stream do practical horse work at South Eastern Equine Hospital.

The Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is delivered over a two year period.  Students attend one day for theory and individual practical sessions are scheduled monthly. Students are also expected to attend a number of specialised industry sessions (usually on Mondays)

We offer elective streams in Equine and Wildlife.

Due to the large number of applicants we receive, we select students through an Interview process. Applicants for Interview will be chosen on the strength of their CV and proven passion for the Industry.
